All applications for the hire of the Dobermann Club Training & Showground shall be made to the events coordinator.
The person who signs the application form is deemed to be the hirer and therefore responsible for complying with these and following terms and conditions of hire.
Only an authorised person may sign on behalf of a company, club or other body.
The Dobermann Club reserve the right to refuse bookings without giving reasons.
A deposit of 25% will be required upon a confirmed booking. A further refundable £50 deposit is requested which will be refunded following the event (see general matters). Non-adherence to the terms and conditions may result in loss of your deposit.
The full fee in respect of each hiring must be received at least 28 days before the date of the event. In the case of bookings made less than 28 days before the event the full hiring fee will be payable on acceptance.
The hirer must give at least 28 days’ notice of cancellation in writing. We reserve the right to retain any deposit paid. Should a cancellation be made with less than 28 days of the hire date the cancellation fee will be 100% of the hire charge.
4. CANCELLATION BY THE DOBERMANN CLUB
The Dobermann Club reserve the right to close the facility at any time. In this event we will give the Hirer as much notice as possible.
Proof of current Third-Party Public Liability Insurance is required, to cover accidents and third party claims which may arise from the use of the facilities.
The hirer shall indemnify The Dobermann Club against all costs, claims and demands which may arise by means directly or indirectly from use of the facilities by the hirer or their club, organisation or any member of the public.
No person shall drive any nail, hook, screw or fastening of any kind into any part of the hired premises.
No person shall alter or move fittings without prior consent of The Dobermann Club.
If damage is caused The Dobermann Club will recover the cost of rectifying or replacing equipment from the hirer.
8. GENERAL MATTERS
Hirers are expected to comply fully with all relevant health and safety legislation whilst on the premises.
Hirers will be responsible for the safety of their own staff and others under their control and for any injuries caused because of their negligence or contravention of current health and safety legislation whilst on the premises, including all current fire regulations.
The Hirer shall provide their own first aid kit.
The Hirer shall not use the facility for any purpose other than the purpose for which it was hired.
The Hirer shall conduct the event in an orderly fashion ensuring that no nuisance is caused to local residents.
Under normal circumstances the facility is available until 2200hrs. If the event is to run beyond 2200hrs then the agreed charge is doubled. Please note cleaning up time is not to extend past 2200hrs or this too will incur a double rate charge.
The Hirer shall clean up any dog mess and remove all rubbish from the facility. The £50 deposit given at time of booking will be refunded following the event IF all rubbish is removed, all dog mess is removed and the facility is left clean and tidy with no damage or breakages.
No loose dogs - all dogs to be kep on a lead.
