The Dobermann Club Championship Show 2013 Bitch Critique
Bitch Judge : Mrs Glynice Margret Senior M.B.I.C.Sc
I want to thank the club for inviting me and my husband to judge their show and thank you to my two stewards. I found the breed getting taller and longer in body, more exercise making them lose in front movement and poor top lines on the move. A few had no second thigh. Exhibitors and breeders when considering breeding your bitches remember a dobermann was built for strength to be able to catch thieves and knock them down, a breed meant to guard yet strong and with a slight elegance that is lacking today. We have not judged the breed for a while so thank you all for your entries. 1971 when we started in dobermanns does not seem so long ago. The breed has changed a bit since we last showed dobermanns. We both agreed the dog was Best in Show.
